It has been a pleasure to have been involved with Steve Chapman for almost twenty years. I have known Steve from his time as a junior player in the UK and I have followed with interest his career as a player and now as a highly qualified coach.

As he embarks on an exciting new coaching project, I have no doubt that he will add value as a coach in any environment, and I fully endorse Steve himself along with the programs and concepts he now has up and running in Australia.

I first met Steve back in 1997 when I was an overseas professional playing in the North of England. At this time I was still aspiring to professional cricket in WA and worked with Steve throughout the summer developing and fine tuning aspects of my game. His attention to detail was fantastic and his technical knowledge outstanding. I continued to work with him over the coming years during my time traveling to England to play cricket and finally made it into the WA team during the Australian season of 2005 – 06. Just wanted to say a quick Thank You for all your help. The sessions we had earlier this year really helped me improve my game. Something as simple as keeping my head straight and waiting that fraction of a second longer to hit the ball has improved my game significantly.

I found the cricket coaching clinics excellent, things were explained very simply which made it very easy to learn the new skills and use them. The additional follow up discussions with Steve have also been good value, these conversations ensure firstly the player is improving and secondly offers reinforcement towards areas that you might be struggling with, as he can always explain to you what you might need to look at. The fact that there are 8 people on the Personal Performance course helps you get more ideas on how others go about their cricket. I've completed 2 courses and would recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their cricketing skills or just have a hit, absolutely should do the course.
